General

What is the Spot?

The Spot is a 16.0x16.4mm box on the back side of our K•ADS which is an ad containing your business address, discounts or offers. When you buy a Spot, you will also get a 140x140px box on our webpage that will be linked to a landing page of provided URL by you. But if you are a premium buyer, you will get the whole front side of 52.0x86.0mm card and two (2) 740x140px boxes on our webpage.

What is the different between Buy the Spot and Rent the Spot?

Buy-A-Spot is a six (6) months package ad space printed on our K•ADS and also online on our webpage. While Rent-A-Spot is an ad space available online on monthly basis.

Why there are other ads on the K•ADS?

The idea is that people more attempt to keep the K•ADS because of Ad A but might be looking at Ad B in future. With this idea, more K•ADS will get their home in wallets or purses.

Design

Who will design the ad? I want my Creative to design the ad for us.

You will design the ad and submit it to us fifteen (15) days before 1st date of the month of batch you bought. You must follow the size of our Spot boxes—140x140px for the ad banner and 16.0x16.4mm for the Spot on the card.

For premium buyer, the sizes are 740x140px for the ad banner and 52.0x86.0mm for the card with round corner. And we advise you to download our Template from our Submission page and provide us the source copy in AI, EPS or PDF format.

When should my Creative submit our ad design?

Please submit your ad design to us fifteen (15) days before 1st date of the month of batch you bought. We will send you a gentle reminder e-mail a day before the submission date. See Calendar page.

Can you design the ad for us?

No, we don't do design. But, our design house, niczoushadz.com/design can design your ad for a special price of RM50 free! You only have to provide them the details on what do you want to put in it, logo and identity branding like colour, font, etc. Please visit the website at www.niczoushadz.com/design for the service.

The Standard Spot on the back side of the card is too small and I have long ad, what should I do?

The Spot on the back side is 16.0x16.4mm in dimension. It is small, so you should select what will describe you most or what services do you offer as a business. But don't worry, you can still put other info in the ad banner (140x140px) on our webpage. Other solution would be buying more boxes and you will get discounts if you buy more than one Spot in one batch.

Can I use Bahasa Malaysia for ad content?

Yes, you can use Bahasa Malaysia or English in your Campaign Ad.

Distribution

Where do you distribute the K•ADS?

We will be distributing the K•ADS throughout Kuala Lumpur and Selangor at this time. Currently, we have confirmed a distribution point, KL Sentral RapidKL Station.

How do you distribute the K•ADS?

Five thousands (5000) K•ADS will be printed per batch and 50% (or less*) of them will be distributed by respective advertisers who bought the Spot with us at their own creativity. With this, some different background of targeted audience will also get your ad.

Besides these distribution points, some K•ADS will also be delivered by post to our Official Store, HomeShoppe customers.

The key to effective advertising today is to focus on the individual.

*Distribution by the advertisers is optional. We will somehow distribute the K•ADS for their part if they choose not to receive their K•ADS.

We do not want to distribute our part of K•ADS, do you charge a fee to helping us to distribute?

There will be no extra fees charged for distributing your part of the K•ADS.

Purchase

How to buy the Spot?

IklanorAds uses HomeShoppe as our Official Store. After you click "Buy", you will be redirected to HomeShoppe to review and make the payment. If your ad is not approved by IklanorAds, you will receive a full refund.

Any kind of businesses or brands can buy our Spots. Please refer to Terms and Conditions for guidelines.

What can I put in the Spot?

Any offers and discounts would encourage possible customers to your store. You can also put address, services offered and URL of your website.

I have no website. Can I still buy the Spot?

Yes, you can still buy the Spot. Instead of the URL, you can put your physical store address and telephone number on the ad. People may still reach you. However we recommend you to put your email as your landing page.

My business is operating outside Malaysia, can I buy the Spot?

Yes, you can if you want your business to be recognised in Malaysia. The cards will be distributed within Malaysia, plus campaign ads on our website that can be accessed worldwide.

Discounts

Can I buy more than one Spot? Is there any discount?

Yes, you can and you will receive 25% off on 2nd and 3rd Spot, 50% off on 4th Spot and following Spot in one batch. However you have to email us at mail@iklanorads.com for multiple purchases.

Does IklanorAds offer a non-profit discount?

Yes. We offer a 50% discount to non-profits and charities. Send us an email that includes a link to your organization's website. That's usually all we need to tell if you're truly a non-profit. And we will send you a coupon code for your purchase.

Payments

What are payment methods available?

IklanorAds accepts the following payment methods: PayPal (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & eCheck), Maybank, CIMB Bank, Bank Simpanan Nasional.

I have made the payment, but I've received no emails and haven't submitted my details. What should I do?

Please check your SPAM folder in your email. If there is no emails from us, please go to Submission page and fill in your Ad Spot number you have paid for and other details.

Others

How long does it take for my ad to be reviewed?

IklanorAds reviews the content for all campaigns to ensure the content is appropriate for Malaysia. Campaigns are generally reviewed within 24 hours of creation, however campaigns created on the weekend will be reviewed the following Monday.

How do I edit a Campaign Ad?

To edit the ad copy or update the URL of a Campaign Ad you need to send email to mail@iklanorads.com with new URL or/and image of the new ad. Once approved, your Campaign Ad will be updated and you will receive an email.
